History

Applied Visions is a Management Consulting firm dedicated to serving the human performance and technology needs of large and mid-size firms. Our 60 years of combined experience and dedicated principals collaborate in team environments to contribute to successful projects at all levels.

The firm began as a personal service business in 1989 by Karen Lohss. Its market focus was Change Management and Organizational Development for corporate clients. Applied Visions was associated with and partnered closely with LaMarsh & Associates through 1992 when Karen joined Andersen Consulting (Accenture). At that time Mark Lohss joined Applied Visions and began providing professional services to the manufacturing and distribution industries.

Applied Visions incorporated as a limited liability company (LLC) in 1995, to better organize and manage its growing consulting practice. Growth continued with additional employees and subcontractors until 2002 when Mark took a 4 year sabbatical to help the Chicago Waldorf School as its board chairman and later as its Administrator. In January 2006, the company reorganized with both Karen and Mark returning as principals.
